Get Outside And Enjoy Trivia In The Park
Contributed by: Laura Chatterton
Although events around the Milwaukee area have been canceled or postponed due to COVID-19, the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department wanted to offer something fun to do in the park while still being safe.
The Brews & Bites Trivia Nights Series – presented by Clement Manor Inc – is a modified version of our typical Brews & Bites Concert Series. The event is held every Tuesday night from 5-9pm with trivia play beginning at 6:30pm. Trivia is free to play and is hosted by Quizmasters Trivia. Prizes are awarded for 1st and 2nd place and Best Team Name. A food truck or two attends each event alongside the AMP Haus, which offers adult beverages (beer and seltzers), soda and water.
The Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department is taking various measures to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the area, tables are spread at least eight feet apart, and there is informational and directional signage around the park to encourage social distancing. All AMP Haus volunteer bartenders, whose tips go toward non-profit organizations, wear masks and frequently wash their hands and use hand sanitizer throughout the night.
The City of Greenfield Department of Parks and Recreation Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life of all segments of the Greenfield community through the promotion, development, and maintenance of public recreation and enrichment opportunities, park lands and related facilities, and preservation of natural areas.
