Onesto Opens A New Walk-Up Window Cafe

Onesto, located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward is making lemonade out of lemons with the opening of Onesto Piccino Café. The walk-up window cafe is a collaboration between Onesto, Valentine Coffee Roasters and Holey Moley – three local businesses looking for creative ways to serve their customers safely during COVID-19.
The walk-up café is open at 7 AM daily with a full menu of coffee & espresso featuring Valentine Coffee, scratch-made baked good from Holey Moley, and takeaway lunch favorites from Onesto.
“With the ongoing operational changes we’re making due to COVID-19, we realized the opportunity and need for takeaway options in the Third Ward that don’t require guests to enter the restaurant,” says Maddie Seymour, Director of Marketing. “We’ve been overwhelmed with the response to our window café this week, and it’s been energizing to build an additional revenue stream for three local businesses: Onesto, Valentine Coffee, and Holey Moley. We have plans to expand the concept as the Third Ward’s walking traffic and office buildings begin to cautiously return.”
Italian for “honest,” Onesto puts a modern twist on Italian cuisine that’s fresh and flavorful. Located in the heart of the Historic Third Ward, Onesto pairs handmade pasta with an outstanding wine and craft cocktail list, elegant service, and a unique menu that has been frequently named among the best Italian in Milwaukee. Enjoy an Italian espresso or a Dalgona whipped coffee from the new walk-up window cafe.
