The Saturday afternoon before Easter, our doorbell rang. We obviously weren’t expecting company, and there wasn’t a car in the driveway or in front of the house. My son said “Mom, there is a lady with an apron walking away.” I opened the front door to see my neighbor, Brandy, walking back to her house. I looked down and there was a huge bakery bag on our porch. I hollered my thanks and she said they had been thinking of us. I opened the package to find a beautiful Challah bread! We’d never had one before and it was amazing. It was the focal point of our Easter breakfast. Brandy’s kindness was an unexpected blessing and made us feel so happy!
