After quite a few tears shed over my unknowns in student teaching during the heat of the pandemic, my dad played a tune that our family always plays when someone’s stressed out or upset.
He blasted “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley throughout our house, which brought a smile to my face. We were then contemplating how to change out our flag pole. Do we keep the Bucks flag up? Do we put up the Brewers one?
Eventually we thought “wait, let’s make a flag to make people smile”. This was our end result. In the midst of so much unknown, every little thing is gonna be alright.
