On August 1, eighteen people joined our long-awaited, socially-distanced Pandemic Pedal with Pat – a 13-mile journey through New Berlin and West Allis parks.
The day ended with a post-ride, outdoor celebration which took all the precautions (gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, etc.) to keep folks safe. We had a hot dog bar, a variety of adult beverages (including FVCK COVID beer and MD 20/20) and Pat finally took revenge on a Coronavirus piñata filled with HCQ (aka hand sanitizer).
It was a fantastic day that was filled with a lot of emotions. It was a time where family, old and new friends, nurses, our tribe and prayer warriors came together to celebrate the life of the man I love.
Pat and I will be forever grateful for everyone’s support, love, and friendship.
