It all started when my son’s birthday fell in the first week of the Safer At Home order. I put a sign in my front yard telling people to honk twice for his second birthday. Mike, who is one of the coaches for my older daughter’s soccer team, asked if he could come by as Spider-Man! I said sure, so he drove through our neighborhood and honked in his Spidey costume.
After he left, he posted to the New Berlin Community Facebook Page asking if anyone needed a Spidey surprise! The response was OVERWHELMING! His wife then created a Facebook Group called Spidey in a Civic. People of New Berlin, or very close surrounding areas, can request a Spidey drive by. He has quite the following! I love watching the posts from parents after he surprises the kids! Everyone shows the love and we are all so thankful and grateful for Mike, his wife Jill, daughter Mia, and dog Remi, for showing us love and positivity during all of this!
