The late ‘90s were a simpler time. Back then, if you felt like tacking a representation of a facial expression onto the end of your email, you had to type out emoticons. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
And here we are, 21 years later, with 3,300 emojis – the polished predecessor of the humble emoticon –at our fingertips. Heck, nowadays, emojis can practically tell stories all on their own…
