You know what makes me laugh? Other people laughing. Seriously, just the sight and sound of someone busting out in laughter is usually enough to put me in stitches. Laughter can be infectious like that.
So, what better way to celebrate the joy of lemonade than by celebrating some of the best, weirdest and most memorable laughs in media?
Drax, Guardians of the Galaxy
Hearty and usually inappropriately-timed, Drax has the absolute best laugh in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fight me.
Ian Malcolm, Jurassic Park
This movie is one of my all-time favorites for many reasons, and among those reasons is Dr. Ian Malcolm’s weird, growly laugh. It’s so infectious, I could listen to it for hours…
Walter Fielding, Jr., The Money Pit
This is the kind of laugh one lets out when they’ve had so much calamity thrown at them that one more misfortune doesn’t even phase them. Honestly? Relatable.
Vizzini, The Princess Bride
There are three classic blunders: 1. Getting involved in a land war in Asia, 2. Going against a Sicilian when death is on the line, and 3. Listening to this laugh with a full bladder.
Pee-Wee Herman, character
Ha-ha! Portrayed by Paul Reubens, the character of Pee-Wee Herman has one of the most ridiculous and recognizable laughs in all media.
Spongebob Squarepants, character
Did you know that Spongebob Squarepants premiered in 1999? I guess, this joyfully annoying laugh can be considered “Fresh Since ‘99”, too!
Kawhi Leonard, ruiner
Let me start off by saying that, as a Milwaukee Bucks fan, I’m still salty about that Toronto Raptors series. That said, Fun Guy’s laugh at this particular press conference is money.
Seth Rogan, actor
If a Muppet made a wish upon a star to become a real boy, that Muppet-turned-human boy would have a laugh like Seth Rogan.
Does laughter tickle your funny bone? Is there one laugh, in particular, that gets you going every time? Yuck it up in the comments!
