Two other ladies and I help run a Facebook group that helps mothers during this pandemic time. Everyone in the group helps each other with items including clothing, new and used baby items and food and milk. We even caught the attention of Twitter philanthropist, Bill Plute, with a donation.
So far, we’ve raised over $600 that’s been put to use and has helped many parents in need. We even held a Mother’s Day gift basket raffle that we paid for out of our own pockets. We will continue to help mothers that struggle in years to come. This is a movement we hold very dear.
