My 85-year-old dad, Dan T., makes bird houses. They are very nice and he likes to keep busy. When schools shut down he felt bad for the kids & parents and decided he would give bird houses to kids that they could paint. I helped him create with a flyer that went with the bird houses showing the kids how they could decorate them, put them in their yards and watch to see what birds might visit. He wanted to help to keep kids occupied and get them outside. My only job was to anonymously drop them off. We kept it a secret to make it more fun. My dad is a very humble man and took great joy in helping kids during the shut down.
