Our first grandchild was born into our family on Saturday. We’ve been so excited waiting for this special event. Of course, due to the current situation, my husband Jim, and daughters Nicole and Jaime and I haven’t been able to get any closer than the window outside my daughter Megan and her husband Jake’s home. We wanted a picture of us from the outside, and when our son-in-law took the picture, it looked like my husband was holding his grandbaby in his arm because of the reflection. It made us smile so much.

My dad, who lives in an assisted living facility, was also eager to see his new great-grand baby. I was able to take a photo to him this week by dropping it off outside the facility, and a nurse brought it into his room while I visited from the outside. We’re doing the best that we can with the lemons we’ve been given. We can’t wait till the day when we can hold our sweet new member of the family in our arms.
