We typically spend a good amount of time at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in the summers. My now 11-year-old son helps photograph the joust every time we go. With all of our free time now, he’s been working on stop motion videos of his LEGOs. Using my old knight set from when I was a child, he set up his own version of the joust. He created all the characters and a storyboard and shot the entire thing himself over two days. I helped by using my contacts with the wonderful performers of the Faire to get voice overs and edited it all together. It was a wonderful way to connect with a small part of an amazing group of performers that we sorely miss.
