I’ve been spending time working on my golf game … this is kind of funny in itself. What makes it truly heartwarming, is the tolerance and leniency shown to me by others. Golf courses are closed, like nearly everything, so I was driving balls in an area that is probably off limits. Sure enough, the groundskeeper drove up to me and said, “Normally I’d say, ‘You can’t hit balls here!’.” I let out a little breath. He continued, “But what are people suppose to do – stay inside all day!? It’s good to see you out here. Try to keep your divots all in one place, okay?” Even the police seem to be gentler and lenient, in the interests of community mental health. But that’s another story …
