When the pandemic began in Wisconsin, our 9-year-old granddaughter Amanda, of Fredonia, WI,  asked what she could do to help.

She had made braided fabric toys for cats and dogs to give to friends and family as Christmas gifts. She decided to make them to sell to raise money for PPE items. She worked hard for several days, then advertised them on Facebook for $5 each.

She raised $250 to donate to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon, where she was born.

We are very proud of her unselfish effort to help.
