To keep me busy during the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband, Gary, cut up enough wood for me to make and paint 50 birdhouses. The wood is from an old pine fence and the paint and screws are from Habitat for Humanity Restore. The Vlotho family from Kewaskum volunteered to help paint a majority of them. I’ve been selling them from my front porch for $10. All proceeds will go to the Full Shelf Food Pantry in West Bend.
