Birdhouses For a Cause

To keep me busy during the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband, Gary, cut up enough wood for me to make and paint 50 birdhouses. The wood is from an old pine fence and the paint and screws are from Habitat for Humanity Restore. The Vlotho family from Kewaskum volunteered to help paint a majority of them. I’ve been selling them from my front porch for $10. All proceeds will go to the Full Shelf Food Pantry in West Bend.

Supporting Dairy and Local Food Pantries
The Slinger High School FFA has raised over $1,500 for local food pantries as a result of their current "Support Dairy" campaign. FFA organizations are also taking action in response to the negative impact COVID-19 has had on the Wisconsin Dairy industry. Read story »
