Comic Relief – With a Twist!

When times get tough, embracing the good – like kindness, sharing and laughter – becomes even more important. So, this #WellnessWednesday, Mike’s Hard Lemonade wants to celebrate the good that comes from a shared laugh – while humblebragging a little about how we’ve helped support those who deal in laughter through this whole… 2020.

As the proverb goes, laughter is the best medicine. And, in the throes of a global pandemic, this kind of medicine is very much needed.

However, shutdowns and safer at home orders have affected many of those primary comedy providers. Without a stage to perform on, not only are they missing paychecks, they’re missing the opportunity to do what they do best – make us laugh.

That’s why Mike’s Hard Lemonade has donated $150,000 to Comedy Gives Back’s COVID-19 Relief Fund. To date, Comedy Gives Back has awarded five hundred $500 grants to help support comedians in communities throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

We’ve also been sharing the fun (and our support) with our #LaughsOverLemonade comedy series, featuring both known and up-and-coming comedians. It’s comic relief with a fresh twist. Check it out for yourself!
