Supporting Dairy and Local Food Pantries
Contributed by: Slinger High School FFA
The Slinger High School FFA has raised over $1,500 for local food pantries as a result of their current “Support Dairy” campaign.
Various other FFA organizations are also taking action in response to the negative impact COVID-19 has had on the Wisconsin Dairy industry. The Slinger FFA has currently sold over 150 “Support Dairy” yard signs, with members delivering and placing them in yards and in front of businesses, so customers can remain contact-free.
Other signs are being shipped out to locations as far away as Texas. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser are going to local food pantries to purchase dairy and other food items to keep their shelves stocked during this time of need.
More information can be found on the Slinger FFA Facebook page.
