Over 100 Ali’s Sweet 16 Birthday Art Kits were picked up curbside to honor Ali, who gained her angel wings at the tender age of 10. The fundraiser benefited The Cure Starts Now, which helps research cancers that are immune to conventional treatment and affect children. Nothing Bundt Cakes and candles were provided by Uptown Art to light up in Ali’s honor.
The fundraiser continues this Saturday at 2pm with a live art auction on the Uptown Art Facebook page and YouTube channel. It will include local art work as well as note card sets featuring artwork painted by Ali at Uptown Art. Proceeds go to The Cure Starts Now.
